Why Carve Animals Out of Salt At All?
It would be easier, frankly, to only sell the classic natural rock shape — less carving time, less risk of a flaw showing up mid-cut, less skill required from the person holding the tool. We make animal-shaped lamps anyway, because customers kept asking for something with more personality than a plain glowing rock, and because our carvers are genuinely good enough to deliver it.
